Nuova vita per l’organo della chiesa. I fondi raccolti per il restauro saranno in parte destinati a sostegno dei bambini colpiti dalla guerra in Siria.
La nostra comunità parrocchiale da più di un anno ha intrapreso l’opera di restauro dello storico organo della chiesa.
Da diversi anni l’organo collocato sopra la sacrestia era praticamente inutilizzabile, e spinti dal desiderio di valorizzare di nuovo un così prezioso strumento, si è deciso di affidarlo ad una ditta di restauratori.
L’organo inizia ad essere costruito nel 1775 ad opera della famosa bottega di Giacomo Benedetti di Desenzano. Ampliato e modificato diverse volte nei secoli successivi, dell’originale strumento sopravvivono ad oggi le canne lignee del pedale, il relativo somiere e tutte le canne metalliche, compresa la facciata, la tastiera, i mantici e le manette dei registri.
L’ultimo intervento risale agli anni 50 del secolo scorso con l’elettrificazione del sistema di ventilazione.
L’organo, composto da più di 800 canne, è stato affidato ad una giovane bottega bresciana di restauro, la Galli-Pian, con l’obiettivo di far rivivere alla musica lo strumento per la prima metà del 2017.

Come sempre accade in lavori così delicati e complessi su elementi storici, il costo dell’intera operazione non è certamente basso. A fine lavori si prevede una spesa di circa 90mila Euro, tra sistemazione delle canne, degli elementi meccanici e i mantici dell’organo, insieme alla sistemazione degli ambienti dove è alloggiato lo strumento e l’impianto elettrico.
Allo scopo di sostenere il restauro e la nuova vita del nostro antico organo parrocchiale, abbiamo pensato come comunità di chiedere liberi contributi a tutti coloro che credono in questo progetto di restauro e di salvaguardia del patrimonio artistico della musica.
In questo anno sono arrivati diversi contributi sia da parte della CEI (20mila euro), da parte della Fondazione Comunità Bresciana (16mila euro) e del Comune di Moniga (13mila euro). Ci sono state anche alcune donazioni da parte di privati che hanno contribuito molto al raggiungimento dei costi.
Attualmente è stato garantito il 70 % dei costi, per questo cerchiamo ulteriori contributi…
Restauro e solidarietà per i bambini in Siria
La comunità parrocchiale ha pensato di legare ogni donazione per il restauro dell’organo ad un progetto di carità.
Un terzo di ogni donazione andrà per sostenere la scuola delle famiglie povere colpite dalla guerra in Siria. Attraverso il nunzio apostolico a Damasco, Monsignor Mario Zenari, aiuteremo i bambini di Qamischlyé, zona a nord est della Siria sotto la minaccia dell’Isis.

More than one year ago our community began the work of restoration of the ancient church organ.
The organ placed above the sacristy was almost impossible to use, for this reason our community decided to entrust a small workshop of artisans to restore it.
The organ was built in 1775 by the famous workshop of Giacomo Benedetti from Desenzano. The organ was improved and modified several times during the following centuries. From the original instrument we can see today the wooden and the metallic organ pipes of the pedal as well as the front part, the keyboard, the bellows and the keys.
The last work of restoration goes back to the 50’s with the installation of an electrical system of ventilation.
The organ, composed of more than 800 pipes, was given to a small workshop from Brescia the “Galli-Pian” in order to bring it back to work by the first half of 2017.
The contribution
The price for this entire work of restoration won’t be obviously low as we are dealing with a delicate and complex operation on a historical element. The final cost for these works will be aproximately € 90.000,00 , considering the organ pipes, the mechanical elements and the bellows, together with the restoration of the housing where the organ and the electrical system are placed.
In order to support the restoration and the new life of our ancient parish organ, we thought, as a community, to collect a free donation from anybody who believe in ths project of protection of our artistic and musical heritage.
During this year we collected many donations from the CEI (€ 20.000,00), from the community foundation of Brescia (€ 16.000,00) and from the district of Moniga (€ 13.000,00). We received also many donations from people who helped us to increase the amount of donations collected.
Currently a 70% of the cost has been guaranteed, for this reason we are looking for more contributions
Restoration and solidarity for children in Syria
We would like to link one third of every donation for the organ to a charity project. With the help of Monsignor Mario Zenari in Damascus, we help poor children and their families in Qamischlyè, a zone in the north part of Syria, struck by the IS.

Ein neues Leben für die Orgel unserer Kirche
Unsere Pfarrgemeinschaft hat vor mehr als einem Jahr die Restaurierung der historischen Orgel der Kirche angefangen.
Seit vielen Jahren war die Orgel, die sich über der Sakristei befindet, praktisch unbrauchbar. Der Wunsch danach, dieses wertvolle Instrument nochmals verwenden zu können, hat uns zu der Entscheidung bewegt, sie einer Restaurierungsfirma anzuvertrauen.
Die Orgel wurde 1775 in der berühmten Werkstatt von Giacomo Benedetti von Desenzano angefertigt. Das Instrument wurde im Laufe der Jahrhunderte mehrmals erweitert und verändert. Die originalen Teile, die noch heute existieren, sind die Holzpfeifen des Pedals, die Windlade und alle Metallpfeifen, die Fassade, die Tastatur, die Blasebälge und die Handhebel der Register.
Die letzten Arbeiten gehen auf die 50er Jahre zurück, als das elektrisches Ventilationssystem gebaut wurde.
Die aus mehr als 800 Pfeifen bestehende Orgel wurde der jungen Restaurierungswerkstatt aus Brescia „Galli-Piani“ anvertraut, mit der Absicht, die originale Musik des Instruments innerhalb der ersten Hälfte des kommenden Jahres zu neuem Leben zu erwecken.
Der Beitrag
Wie immer bei so schwierigen und komplexen Arbeiten an historischen Gegenständen ist der Preis nicht niedrig.
Am Ende der Arbeiten sind Ausgaben von insgesamt 90.000 € vorgesehen, darunter die Ordnung der Pfeifen, der mechanischen Elemente, der Blasebälgen, der Elektrik und auch die Einrichtung der Zimmer, in denen die Orgel ist.
Mit dem Zweck, die Restaurierung und das neue Leben unserer alten Orgel zu unterstützen, haben wir als Gemeinschaft daran gedacht, diejenigen um freie Beiträge zu bitten, die an dieses Projekt von Restauration und Schutz des kulturellen Reichtums der Musik glauben.
In diesem Jahr haben wir verschiedene Beiträge erhalten, z.B. von der CEI (die italienische Bischofskonferenz), 20.000 €, von der „Fondazione Comunità Bresciana“, 16.000 €, und von der Gemeinde von Moniga, 13.000 €. Wir haben auch einige Spenden von privaten Bürgern bekommen, die uns sehr geholfen haben, die Ausgaben abzudecken.
Zurzeit ist 70% der Ausgaben garantiert und wir suchen noch weitere Beiträge.
Restaurierung und Solidarität für Kinder in Syrien
Als Pfarrgemeinde entschieden wir uns für die Restaurierung der Orgel zu einem Charity-Projekt alle Spenden zu binden.
Ein Drittel jeder Spende geht die Schule von armen Familien durch den Krieg in Syrien betroffen zu unterstützen. Durch den Apostolischen Nuntius in Damaskus, Monsignore Mario Zenari, werden sie Kinder Qamischlyé, im Nordosten von Syrien unter der Isis Bedrohung helfen.
